Ville brings over 20 years of experience in the inspection industry. Before founding Replico, Ville worked at Helen and Inspecta (now Kiwa) in various expert roles. Ville holds a degree in materials engineering and is a certified IWE welding engineer. His certifications include VT Level 2, PT Level 2, MPI Level 2, Frosio, and ITC Level 1. Ville is responsible for Replicon’s energy business but is actively involved in projects in the forest and oil industries.
Ville’s expertise includes quality management (QA/QC), inspection planning and coordination, field metallurgy (low-alloy and high-alloy steels, 300-series austenitic stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys), coating thickness and ferrite content measurements, steel structure surface treatment and painting inspections, thermal imaging, endoscope inspections, and NDT inspections.
